  On Eight Consecutive Tuesdays, March 23, 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4, and 8, 2010, from 9-10:30pm Eastern.

  Leader style: The founder of Dynamic Mediation and Consulting PLLC, Life-Focused Communication ©, Gloria Lybecker is a Certified Family Coach and Mediator, and a Registered Counselor with the State of Washington. A graduate of Susan Skye's Pacific Leadership and NVC Training Program and the Center For Nonviolent Communication's and BayNVC’s Parent Peer Leadership Program (PPLP), she continues to serve as an assistant for the PPLP. Gloria’s expertise is in how the brain learns. She provides customized trainings, as well as coaching programs, and mediation services. ***** Sarah Peyton, is a Certified Family Coach and independent facilitator from Vancouver, WA, has been teaching Compassionate Communication and the Brain for three years from Alaska to Oregon, and is in the IPNB program at Portland State University.  
  Minimum 4 Participants; Entry level class in Compassionate Communication, Interpersonal Neurobiology & Collaborative Problem Solving Topics That Will Be Covered: • Introduction to the brain on empathy • Implicit and explicit experience: How do we transform difficult moments? • How the brain reacts to labels and neuroplasticity • Triggers and the 3 states of being • Pathways: Noticing the patterns • Lowering stress and anxiety: Making a clear observation • Creating partnership: Requests that connect • Pulling it all together  
     
 

Class Description:
When you have signed up for this class we will send you a link inviting you to join us for a live online weekly presentation! We will also engage in exercises and role plays to maximize integration of the concepts discussed in the class. All classes will be recorded so that you can listen again to further your learning and/or catch up on a missed class. Recordings are used to expand learning for those who are unable to participate live with us during this scheduled series.
