Martha Lasley is a founding partner of Leadership that Works, a firm that offers training and coaching for visionaries. She serves as a NY state mediator and facilitates Leader Networks for Executive Directors of Nonprofits. On the faculty for the Capella MBA program, she teaches Facilitating Change; Leading Teams; Negotiating for Results; Developing and Coaching Others; and Leveraging Workplace Diversity. She wrote Courageous Visions: How to Unleash Passionate Energy in Your Work and in Your Life, in 2004.

Martha is passionate about teaching Leadership Coaching which is based on nonviolent communication. She coaches executives and managers to lead change initiatives, improve interpersonal communications, bring spirit into team building, and develop visionary strategies. She and her team design customized leadership development programs, empowering leaders to bring their heart and soul to work, build influence, develop a compelling vision and communicate excitement about the future. She has designed many organizational development interventions, appreciative inquiry initiatives, and strategic planning projects.
